I am Alizaman Abbaslı, a volunteer from Azerbaijan. I have started my volunteering activity at Šiaulių Didždvario Gymnasium within the “Volunteering for Solidarity Education” project, and this project will continue until 2027.

My life is built around technology, logic, and creative design. I am a graduate of the Azerbaijan University of Technology, and my main field of interest is software development. I especially enjoy working with backend programming and Python, and I want to further develop myself in this field. Analyzing problems and building efficient systems is a great source of interest for me, and I enjoy doing this work.

In addition to my technical skills, I also enjoy digital design and creating visual content using platforms like Canva. During my activities in Lithuania, I aim to apply the combination of these technical and creative skills in my work.

Šiauliai made a very positive first impression on me. The city is clean, organized, and beautifully integrated with nature. Living in this peaceful environment motivates me even more to work on my new projects and continue developing myself.

My main responsibility within the project is to actively participate in the activities of the school’s radio station, “Radijo klubas.”

My duties include:

  • Technical supervision: Participating in technical processes, supporting the management of digital systems, and ensuring the continuous operation of the radio station.
  • Content creation: Creating useful podcasts for university students.
  • Community support: Supporting other social and educational activities carried out at the school.
  • Social media: Actively participating in the organization of events held within the gymnasium and promoting them through social media platforms.

My main goal is to contribute real value to the school and the local community through volunteering. I believe that working at the radio station and living in Lithuania will help me improve my English language skills, gain new opportunities for my career in software development, and build valuable connections.

I would like to use this experience both to make a positive impact on society and to continue my professional and personal development.
